Whenever cheela is mentioned, either semolina or gram flour cheela comes to most people’s mind. If you also want to try something new, then try making gram flour cheela. For your information, let us tell you that to make gram flour cheela, you will need one cup flour, 4 spoons gram flour, 2 spoons rice flour, one finely chopped onion, 2 finely chopped green chillies, one teaspoon celery, half teaspoon turmeric, one teaspoon red chilli, salt and 2-4 teaspoons oil.



First step- First of all sift the flour. After this, sift the gram flour and rice flour and then take out these three things in the same bowl.


Second step- You have to keep mixing all the things while adding water little by little in this bowl so that the batter of flour cheela is prepared.


Third step- The consistency of cheela batter should be like dosa batter. Now cover this batter with any plate and let it rest for about 5 minutes.


Fourth step- When the cheela batter swells, beat it once again. Add finely chopped onion, finely chopped green chilli, celery, turmeric, red chilli and salt to this batter.


Fifth step- After mixing everything well, heat the pan and then spread oil on it.


Sixth step- Spread the cheela batter well on the pan. When one side of the cheela is cooked well, then cook the other side of the cheela as well.


Seventh step- Do not forget to apply oil well on both the sides otherwise the cheela may stick to the pan. Let the color of cheela turn light brown and then turn off the gas.


Serve hot cheela and enjoy. From children to adults, everyone will like the taste of flour cheela.
