The RajaSaab Movie Review:South cinema superstar Prabhas has once again returned to the big screen. His film ‘The Raja Saab’ has been released pan India. Actors like Nidhi Agarwal, Sanjay Dutt are in lead roles with him in the film. The trailer of the film was tremendous and the poster was also liked a lot by the audience. Now that the horror-comedy film ‘The Raja Saab’ has been released, people are excited to know whether this film will prove to be worth the money for Prabhas fans and how much fun is there in the story. So let us know the full review of the film and whether there are moments worth watching in it.
The story of the film revolves around Gangamma (Zarina Wahab) and her grandson Raju (Prabhas). Gangamma suffers from Alzheimer’s and often forgets things, but always cherishes the memories of her husband, former exorcist Kanak Raju (Sanjay Dutt). Raju goes to Hyderabad in search of his grandfather and there he learns that his grandfather is no longer in this world, but has returned as a ghost. Now Raju has to face his grandfather’s past, his greed and haunting secrets. The entire story revolves around this conflict and suspense, where Raju has to deal with ghosts, dangerous situations and family emotions.
After the interval of the film, there are some scenes which create some excitement and curiosity. These include Raju’s encounter with ghosts, Sanjay Dutt’s mental game and an emotional scene in the hospital. These moments add freshness and excitement to the story and keep the fans engaged for a while. Although these scenes do not save the entire film, they definitely provide a fun and watchable experience for horror and fantasy lovers.
Prabhas has tried in a comic role after a long time and laughs in some scenes, but at many places his acting seems lame. Zarina Wahab’s acting is simple, which adds to the emotional part of the story. Sanjay Dutt is serious and mysterious in his character. The roles of Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agarwal and Riddhi Kumar are small and do not add much value to the story.
Director Maruti has tried to present the film on a big level. Some scenes look spectacular and grand, but there is no coordination with the entire story. The connection between horror, comedy and emotional scenes is weak, making the tone of the film feel muddled at times. Also, the movie is almost 3 hours long, which makes the story seem a bit dragged out.
The good thing about the film is Prabhas’s comic efforts, which makes one laugh in some scenes. Apart from this, the scenes of Sanjay Dutt and Zarina Wahab are also good and the horror-fantasy scenes are fun to watch. But the film also has some shortcomings, the story is weak, the female characters did not get much opportunity and the film is a bit slow.
If you are a fan of Prabhas or like horror-fantasy, then the film can be watched. There are some funny and exciting scenes in the film. But if you want a strong story and consistent entertainment, this film will fall short of expectations.
