Startups raised around $60.4 million between January 3 and January 10, a decline of 78.7% compared to the $283.6 million secured during the same period last year, according to data intelligence platform Tracxn.
This week’s tally, however, was 20.2% higher than the $50.2 million raised in the previous week.
The deal activity also slowed significantly year-on-year (YoY), with 19 transactions recorded compared with 34 in the same week last year.

Even Healthcare: Healthcare startup Even Healthcare raised $20 million from existing backers Lachy Groom and Alpha Wave Global, with participation from Sharrp Ventures.
Spector AI: Industrial AI startup Spector AI raised $6.7 million in a funding round led by IvyCap Ventures, along with participation from US-based strategic investors.
Nitro Commerce: Marketing automation startup Nitro Commerce raised $5 million from Cornerstone Ventures. The round also saw participation from Finvolve, Razorpay Ventures, Equentis Wealth Advisory Services, Grand Anicut Angel Fund, Rukum Sitara Fund, and Ankurit Capital.
