New Delhi: Five years after the implementation of the ‘National Education Policy 2020’, in the year 2026-27 we are moving towards a new model of ‘Samagra Shiksha’. Today, preparing an education system and human resources in line with ‘Viksit Bharat’ is the biggest challenge before us.

A large population of India expects holistic education from Samagra Shiksha. All states have their own experiences and best practices in the direction of building a just society through education.

To meaningfully transform numerous components such as enhancing learning outcomes, improving nutrition outcomes, reducing the burden of exams, making education seamless, ensuring 100% enrollment up to class 12th, holistic development of schools, technology, digitization, and so on, we must once again return schools to society.

The system and salaries should be the responsibility of the government. But the operation should be the responsibility of society. How will we find a way for this? Today, as we move towards a new model of Samagra Shiksha, we must also think about this.
