Ankita Bhandari Case: The much talked about Ankita Bhandari murder case in Uttarakhand is continuously gaining momentum. Protests are also taking place at various places in Uttarakhand regarding this incident. Ankita’s family members are continuously demanding a CBI investigation. Now Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a big decision in this matter. The Chief Minister has recommended a CBI investigation into this matter. Actually, questions are being raised continuously regarding the name of VVIP in this matter.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that, as soon as information about the incident was received, the state government took action with full sensitivity and impartiality without any delay. Considering the seriousness of the case, a special investigation team was immediately formed under the leadership of a woman IPS officer. All the accused to the case were immediately arrested and effective and strong advocacy was ensured by the state government. The accused are behind bars.

Decision taken on request of parents
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami clarified that recently he had met Ankita’s parents. During this, the emotional parents requested the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate the case to get justice for their daughter. Pushkar Singh Dhami said, Ankita was not just a victim, she was also our sister and daughter. Respecting the sentiments of his parents, we have decided to hand over the case to CBI.
