Dehradun: The journey of Monalisa Bhonsle, who became a viral sensation at the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, has now taken a remarkable turn. She has arrived in Uttarakhand to begin shooting for her Bollywood debut film, The Diary of Manipur.

Renowned Bollywood producer-director Sanoj Mishra is leading this ambitious project, which is based on a Manipuri love story and touches upon important social issues. The shooting is currently underway in Dehradun, Vikasnagar, Mussoorie, and surrounding areas, showcasing the natural beauty of Uttarakhand.

Monalisa playing lead role

Production head Pawan Singh has trained Monalisa extensively, teaching her the nuances of acting to prepare her for this big opportunity.
