Mitchell Santner will captain the team

Experienced all-rounder and spinner Mitchell Santner has been named the captain for the tournament. Will play an important role as a leader on the field.

Key players and fitness updates

The team has strong batting and bowling options. Finn Allen and Mark Chapman have been included in the team, star fast bowler Lockie Ferguson, who is currently struggling with fitness problems, has also got a place in the team. Another special name is Adam Milne, who last played competitive cricket in July 2025.
