A man married after hiding his baldness with a wig. When the truth came out, the wife accused him of cheating, harassment and blackmail. Police have registered a case against 5 people including the husband.

New Delhi: There is a saying that 'get a marriage done by telling a thousand lies'. This used to work in olden times. But now times have changed. If you marry by lying and your luck is good then it will be fine, otherwise you may have to make rounds of the family court. One such case has come to light, where a man hid his baldness by wearing a wig and got married. Now after seeing his real face the wife has reached the police station. In this case, the police have registered a case against the woman's husband and four members of her family.

According to the woman's complaint, she is married to a young man from Pratap Bagh, Delhi. Ever since the boy came to see her before marriage, she hid her baldness by wearing a wig. He assured the girl that her hair was only falling a little. Before marriage, neither the girl nor her family knew that the boy did not have a single hair on his head. After marriage, when she came to her in-laws' house, she came to know about her betrayal when her husband took off his wig.

She was shocked to see this and realized that she had been cheated. When she questioned her husband about this, the behavior of her husband and his family members changed. The woman has alleged that her husband has kept her personal photos in his mobile and is threatening to make them public. Not only this, he is also blackmailing his wife for money through these pictures.

In her complaint to the police, the woman has said that besides this, her husband is torturing her physically and mentally and her family members are also supporting her. She was beaten up and jewelery worth Rs 15 lakh was forcefully taken away from her. After a few days he was thrown out of the house. After this the woman lodged a complaint with the police.

After the woman's complaint, the police have registered an FIR against five people including her husband. A case has been registered under several sections of the Indian Penal Code including dowry harassment. Regarding this incident, Bisrakh Station House Officer Manoj Kumar said that documents and evidence related to mobile phones and financial transactions are being collected.
