Traffic was building on the M1 after a collision northbound between J18 (Rugby) and J19 (Birmingham). The incident came as a broken-down vehicle also causes further delays on J13 southbound exit (Milton Keynes).

According to National Highways, there were delays of around 15 minutes on the motorway. Traffic returned to normal shortly before 8pm.
