Ganga Dussehra- 25 May 2026

Ganga Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. It is believed that on this day Mother Ganga descended from heaven to earth. Taking bath in Ganga on this occasion frees one from ten types of sins. Donating, chanting and worshiping on Ganga Dussehra brings happiness and peace in life. Kartik Purnima Snan- 24 November 2026

The day of Kartik Purnima is also considered very special for holy bath. Taking bath in rivers, ponds and lakes on this day purifies the soul and old sins are destroyed. Kartik Purnima is also called Dev Diwali. On this day, special results are obtained by donating lamps, charity and worship. In the year 2026, Kartik Purnima will be celebrated on 24 November.
