They rank fourth among the most searched sports teams, trailing only behind Paris Saint-Germain FC, Benfica, and the Toronto Blue Jays. Under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer, the Kings had an unforgettable season in IPL 2025, making it to the finals for the first time since 2014. Unfortunately, they fell short against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final match held in Ahmedabad. 

 

Delhi Capitals 

 

The Delhi Capitals (DC) kicked off IPL 2025 with some truly impressive performances. Led by Axar Patel, they clinched victory in their first four matches of the season. However, things took a turn, and they could only secure three wins in their last nine games, ultimately landing them in the No. 5 spot. 

 

When it comes to the most searched IPL teams in 2025, the Delhi Capitals hold the No. 5 position. Gujarat Titans (GT) found themselves sitting just above LSG at No. 6 on the list of the most searched sports teams in 2025. After a tough previous season, the team, led by Shubman Gill, made a strong comeback in IPL 2025. They managed to win nine out of the 14 matches they played, but unfortunately, they fell short against the Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator, which meant they had to say goodbye to the tournament.

 

On a brighter note, GT's Sai Sudharsan and Prasidh Krishna snagged the Orange and Purple caps, respectively, highlighting the incredible talent among the domestic players in their lineup. 

 

Lucknow Super Giants 

 

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) found themselves in the spotlight as the seventh most searched sports team on Google in 2025. They burst onto the scene just before the IPL 2022 season, making headlines with a jaw-dropping signing of Rishabh Pant for a staggering INR 27 crore during the mega-auction, and soon after, they appointed him as their captain.

 

However, under his guidance, LSG had a mixed bag of performances, ultimately landing in seventh place on the points table with six wins and eight losses out of 14 matches.
