Kavisha Dilhari took 2 wickets from Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first and invited India to bat first. Batting first, India posted 175 runs in 20 overs. Which gave Sri Lanka a target of 176 runs to win. The Indian team did not start well. The team lost their first wicket by 5 runs. After that one wicket after another kept going. Half the team returned to the pavilion on 77 runs. But after that, captain Harmanpreet Kaur took charge of the team’s innings. Harmanpreet Kaur scored a brilliant knock of 68 runs off 43 balls. In which she hit 9 fours and one six.
Also, Amanjot Kaur supported her well at the other end. Amanjot Kaur scored 21 runs off 18 balls. In this she hit 1 six and 1 four. Arundhati Reddy, who came next, scored an unbeaten 27 off 11 balls.
