Satua Baba's real name is Santosh Das. He is the current Peethadhishwar of the Vishnu Swami sect, who is the head of the Satua Baba Peeth located in Varanasi. He is often seen with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, due to which he is discussed more. He is said to be close to CM Yogi. He has also received the title of Jagadguru and is known for social service and spiritual education.
Satua Baba's ashram is located near Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi, which is famous for Sanskrit education and service to cows. At the age of 11, Baba left home with Rs 100 and took the path of spirituality. He received education in Varanasi. He became the head of Satua Baba Peeth when his guru, the sixth Peethadhishwar Yamunacharya Maharaj Satua Baba, passed away. He died in the year 2011. According to media reports, Santosh Das was born in a Brahmin family in Lalitpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
