The 2026 IPL Mini Auction saw Punjab Kings chilling at their table when their captain Shreyas Iyer gave a slight nudge to the team owner Nas Wadia to bid for Aman Khan while Chennai Super Kings tried to get Khan for his base price. PBKS raised the paddle once but then backed off. And now Aman Khan, currently leading Puducherry, conceded 123 runs in 10 overs- entering a most unwanted list in List A cricket.

 

This happened in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy match on December 29, against Jharkhand, when Aman was one of only three bowlers from his side who completed his quota. He finished with an economy rate of 12.3, and became the most expensive bowler in List A cricket.

 

With this Aman Khan surpassed the previous record of 116 runs leaked by Arunachal Pradesh bowler Mibom Mosu against Bihar in the same season.
