If a lot of foam is formed when milk is boiled then the milk is fake. To identify fake milk at home, you should drop drops of milk on your hands. Adulterated milk does not flow completely, it sticks to your palms.

Tomatoes cooked with chemicals are very red and shiny. But they are raw from inside. The stalk of fake tomato is black or dry from above. When pressed, they feel hard and have no fragrance. If you mix these in lukewarm water, the color may come out. At the same time, the real tomatoes are of a mixture of light red and yellow color. Juice drips when they are cut.


Regulations on the sale of counterfeit foods


Under the FSSAI, 2006 Act, strict laws have been made on the sale of adulterated food items. If caught, the accused have to pay a fine ranging from Rs 1000 to Rs 5000. There is also a provision for jail sentence ranging from 6 months to 3 years.
