New Delhi: Tata Motors’ micro-SUV Tata Punch has been extremely popular in the Indian market since its launch. Due to its strong body, reliable mileage and affordable price, this car became one of the company’s best-selling SUVs in a short time. Now to take this success forward, Tata Motors is preparing to introduce Punch in a new avatar.

The recently revealed testing pictures have made it clear that the Tata Punch facelift is almost production-ready. The new pictures have revealed many important details about its design, features and upgrades, making this SUV look more modern and feature-loaded than ever before.

May be launched in 2026

The new Tata Punch facelift has been spotted testing on Indian roads. The test model has a dual-tone roof and an exterior design similar to Punch UV. It is believed that this SUV is in the final stages of testing and it can be launched in the first half of 2026. There are indications that the company will not delay its launch much.

New and fresh design

In terms of design, Tata Punch facelift will look more stylish and modern than before. A new bumper has been given in its front, which gives a completely new look to the SUV. LED DRLs are now seen in a more slim and attractive design. Fog lamps with cornering function are expected to be available in some variants. Apart from this, new design alloy wheels can also be provided, which will further strengthen its road presence.

There will be a big upgrade in features

The new Tata Punch facelift can bring big changes in terms of features. A 360-degree camera has been seen in the testing model, which will improve both parking and safety. A new steering wheel will be available in the interior, on which illuminated Tata logo can be given.

Apart from this, it is likely to get a 10.2-inch touchscreen, new dashboard layout, ventilated front seats and 10.25-inch digital driver display. Advanced safety features like Level 2 ADAS can also be provided in some selected variants.

What will be new in engine and performance

Talking about engine options, no major changes are expected. It will be provided with the same reliable 1.2 liter petrol engine. Along with this, CNG variant will also be available. For transmission, 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options can be found in the car.
