Patna. Common people are going to get big relief in land matters in Bihar. The state government has implemented a new rule to simplify the complicated process of filing and rejecting after division of family land. Now the land of the entire family can be accepted or rejected through a single application. This new facility has been started by the Revenue and Land Reforms Department on Bihar Bhoomi Portal, the benefits of which the people of the state have started getting from Sunday.

Till now, after family partition, each shareholder had to apply separately for his/her share of land. This not only resulted in wastage of time and money, but people also had to make repeated visits to the offices. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that in view of this problem of the public, instructions were given to change the system. Under the leadership of CK Anil, Principal Secretary of the department, the technical team has prepared the new system in a short time and implemented it.

Raiyats will get big relief

The new system will especially benefit small farmers and rural families. Transparency will increase due to online process and the role of middlemen will be curbed. Citizens will now be able to apply sitting at home and will also be able to easily see the status of Jamabandi to their land on the portal. Oral partition will get legal basis

The government has also made special arrangements for those families where the land has been distributed only orally. In such cases, there is a possibility of dispute in future and there is difficulty in availing the benefits of government schemes. Now the oral partition can be recorded in the government records and given a paper form, which will make the rights on the land clear and will also provide legal protection.
