24 accused including Allu Arjun in charge sheet
In the police charge sheet, the owner of Sandhya Theater has been named as the main accused (A-1), while actor Allu Arjun has been named as A-11. Apart from this, people associated with theater management, Allu Arjun’s manager, personal staff and eight bouncers are also included in the list of accused. Police say that the role of everyone has been investigated at different levels.
Negligence said to be the cause of the accident
In the investigation, the police have concluded that this accident was the result of serious negligence. It is alleged that the theater management knew in advance that a huge crowd would gather due to the presence of the actor, yet adequate security and crowd control arrangements were not made. On this basis, charges have been leveled against the theater owner under section 304-A of the Indian Penal Code.
The incident of December 4 took the life of a woman
This incident took place on 4 December 2024 at Sandhya Theater located at RTC X Roads, Hyderabad. During the premiere screening of the film, a large number of fans gathered to get a glimpse of the actor, which created chaos. In this stampede, 35-year-old woman Revati died, while her minor son Shretej was seriously injured.
Ignoring security protocols exposed
Police investigation revealed that safety standards were not properly followed at the time of the incident. The situation went out of control due to crowd pressure and chaos. Investigating agencies believe that if proper arrangements were made in time, such a tragedy could have been avoided.
Questions were also raised on the role of the actor
The charge sheet also states that actor Allu Arjun has been held responsible for coming to the theater and continuing with the program despite being aware of the potential danger of the crowd. According to the police, better coordination and crowd management planning should have been done with the local administration.
further legal process
Now further action in this case will take place in the court, where the role of all the accused will be legally investigated. This matter has once again brought the necessity and responsibility of security arrangements in film events into the center of discussion.
