Nandamuri Balakrishna ’s 'Akhanda 2: Thaandavam' had a good Christmas day at the box office. On its fourteenth day, the film collected around Rs 1.65 crore India net from all languages. The holiday helped the film pull more people to theatres. The total collection has now reached around Rs 89.25 crore.
Steady run through second week
'Akhanda 2' has shown a steady hold even in its second week. According to the Sacnilk website on day 12 the film earned Rs 1 crore. On day 13 the collection went up to Rs 1.1 crore. On day 14, the numbers jumped again to Rs 1.65 crore as early estimates. In its first 13 days the film earned an estimated Rs 87.6 crore India net.
Occupancy stays decent on holiday
On the Christmas day 'Akhanda 2: Thaandavam' recorded an overall 33.09% Telugu occupancy. Morning shows had 24.62% occupancy. Afternoon shows improved to 37.52%. Evening shows stayed almost the same at 37.54%. Night shows closed the day at 32.67%.
