Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep , after his previous outing with the hit ‘Max,’ which was also released last Christmas, is now back with another cinematic release on Christmas 2025, with the action thriller ‘Mark.’ Fans have been flocking to the theaters for the first-day, first-show experience, sharing their take on social media. Let’s check out the initial reviews of the film on the internet.

A reviewer took to their X (formerly Twitter) handle and shared the title of the film and wrote, “Pretty good first half with a few predictable moments. Kichcha Sudeep holds the screen with ease. Ajaneesh Loknath ’s BGM is absolutely top-notch.”

Fans love entertainment and screen presenceAnother internet user praised the intro dance number featuring a stylish Kichcha Sudeep. They also applauded the movie’s action blocks. “#KichchaSudeep’s Stylish Intro With A Dance. Action Blocks Work Well And Keep The Pace Strong. #Vikrant Vs Kichcha Sudeep Face- Off is interesting, with Vikrant’s mystery character. A Major Sequence Reflecting A Recent TN Political Leader’s Demise and Its Consequences. Interval Ends On An Open Note,” the tweet read.

Another fan wrote, “Done with the first half. Racy screenplay, not at all boring... From the beginning, straight to the point. Sudeep is crazy. Only a few flaws, but everything is so good.”

Criticism for the routine storylineHowever, some netizens criticized the film's routine storyline, calling out the actor, saying, “After making Max, there was no need to make another Max.” The tweet reads, “Max2 Rating 2.5/5. #Mark First half average. 2nd Half Disappointed. Totally Disappointed Routine Story Madidare. Max made me and Max Mado Avashyakate itta @KicchaSudeep Sir.”

Another fan wrote, “The first half is a completed movie; the first half is full of entertainment, and Sudeep sir’s entry, another level song, and bgm give another vibe to the movie, making it so thrilling. The first half is full of entertainment.”

Another wrote, “Yak andre, BGM bittu bere yenu ista agilla. Completely routine story; nothing new here. V. Kartikeyaa has followed the same old pattern. No grip in the screenplay. Honestly, Sudeep, sir deserved a better film. Really disappointed.”

Kichcha Sudeep is seen playing the role of a suspended officer who is in a race against time to save kidnapped children, battling corrupt politicians and adversaries.

The movie includes Naveen Chandra, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Guru Somasundaram, Vikranth, Roshni Prakash, Dev Gill, Arul Dass, Archana Kottige, and Deepshikha. The music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.
