On Wednesday, Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the Developed India-Gi Ram Ji Act, 2025 is envisioned as a groundbreaking law for India's rural economy, designed to create sustainable employment and foster prosperous villages.




Chouhan led a national dialogue program via video conference with members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to discuss the Developed India-Guaranteed Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural) (VB-G Ram Ji) Act, 2025.




According to an official statement from the Ministry of Rural Development, over 35 million individuals from 255,407 villages across 4,912 blocks in 622 districts participated in this discussion. The ministry emphasized that the aim of the dialogue was to inform members about the provisions of the VB-G Ram Ji Act, 2025 and to gain insights from the community's perspective.
