There was an outcry in the Gidhia village of the local police station area due to the death of siblings on the same day. According to the family members, on Tuesday morning, on the complaint of vomiting of three-month old newborn child Anshu of Gidhia resident Vikas Kushwaha, the family took him to a private hospital in Kon, where the doctor declared the child dead on seeing him. As soon as the family reached home with the body of the crying child, Vikas’s elder daughter Ananya (4 years) also started vomiting. Later, other members of the family started performing the last rites of the younger son and some people, using private means, took the elder daughter to a private hospital located at the district headquarters for treatment, there also the doctor declared the girl dead after seeing her. He went on to say that Vikas Kushwaha had only two children and both of them died on the same day.

As soon as the news of the death of two innocent brother and sister was received, late in the evening Deputy District Magistrate Obra Vivek Kumar Singh reached Gidhiya village and took information about the incident. People told Deputy District Magistrate Obara how two innocent people lost their lives within a few hours. They suspect that this incident may have happened due to severe cold. There is an atmosphere of panic in the entire village due to this incident. At present, the health department should provide relief to the people by setting up camps.
