Users can request the card directly through the Vi app. In supported locations, the company offers 24-hour doorstep delivery. A Niyo representative will visit customers in express delivery zones to complete KYC verification, help set up the card, and process a test transaction. Customers in areas without express delivery service can download the Niyo app to activate their card digitally instead.



The forex card service adds to Vi's existing travel offerings, which include international roaming plans, airport lounge access, travel insurance, and baggage protection services.

Vi customers receive Niyo's Premium service (normally priced at Rs 999 per year) at no cost as part of an introductory offer. The Premium membership includes several travel benefits:

* Flat 10% discount on international hotel bookings through the Niyo app



* One free lounge access each quarter

The Niyo Forex card works in over 180 countries and processes international transactions at base exchange rates. This helps customers avoid the typical 3 to 5% forex markup that increases overseas spending costs.



Vi's expanded international travel services



This partnership is part of Vi's strategy to strengthen its international roaming offerings. The company recently introduced special roaming discounts for secondary members on Vi Family Postpaid plans. Secondary members get a 10% discount, while REDX Family users receive a 25% discount on international roaming packs.



Vi also partnered with Aditya Birla Health Insurance to provide travel insurance coverage of Rs 40 lakh for just Rs 285 with all Vi international roaming packs.
