Sambhal School Holiday: The district government of Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh, has announced winter breaks for all schools from nursery to Class 12 on December 23 and 24, 2025, in consideration of the health of the students and the growing fog and cold wave in the state.

Council, government, private, aided, non-aided, and all board-affiliated schools will all be exempt from the vacation. Schools that have already set exams, however, will carry them out according to schedule.

During the holidays, academic staff members and teachers are expected to continue carrying out their official tasks and departmental obligations. Officials have been directed by District Magistrate Dr. Rajendra Pansiya to make sure that the order is strictly followed.

The decision was made because of the ongoing decrease in temperature and heavy fog, which have been making it difficult for kids in the morning and evening.

The whole Sambhal area had very chilly temperatures on Monday. Road visibility was severely impacted by the dense fog that predominated throughout the night and persisted until around 11 am. In the morning and evening, people were seen burning bonfires to stay warm.
