The initial poster showcases Kiara in a stunning setting against a vibrant circus theme. However, beneath the visual allure lies a character imbued with sorrow and emotional complexity. The imagery suggests a narrative focused on performance, indicating that Nadia is not a typical role and may represent a pivotal moment in Kiara's acting journey.
Geetu Mohandas expressed, “Certain performances transcend the film itself; they redefine an artist. Kiara's portrayal in this film is nothing less than transformative. As a director, I take immense pride in her performance and the dedication she brought to our collaborative effort.”
‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is Yash’s first project since the blockbuster ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, which set new box-office records four years ago. The unveiling of Kiara’s first look aligns with the seventh anniversary of ‘KGF’, a film that sparked a cinematic revolution and solidified Yash’s status as a pan-Indian star.
Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, and directed by Mohandas, ‘Toxic’ has been shot in both English and Kannada, with plans for dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages.
The film features an impressive technical crew, including National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, composer Ravi Basrur, editor Ujwal Kulkarni, and production designer TP Abid. The action sequences are choreographed by Hollywood's JJ Perry, known for ‘John Wick’, along with the National Award-winning duo Anbariv.
Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is set for a grand theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.
