The grand finale result of Bigg Boss Telugu 9 is out. Sanjana Galrani finished fifth, while Emmanuel finished fourth. Damon Pawan eliminated himself and secured the second runner-up position with a sum of Rs 15 lakhs.

Kalyan Padala has been declared the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu 9, the final round saw a tough fight between Tanuja Puttaswamy and Samayam Telugu, Free Press Journal reported. As soon as the news of the winner went viral, fans flooded Kalyan's Instagram feed with congratulatory messages. "Our favorite person won," one commented. Another wrote, "Congratulations Kalyan." Another commented, "Kalyan wins season 9, Tanuja is runner up."

After Kalyan's win was announced, a user speculated on a Reddit thread, "What's your opinion? Is Kalyan a worthy winner?" To this, one replied, "I like Damon or Emmu, but definitely not Tanuja." Another wrote, "Emmu, Tanuja, Damon were more favourites. Do people really think that Kalyan didn't have any PR? I guess he had PR because reels were being made for everything instantly. Meme pages are not that empty to make reels for a non-popular candidate (sic)."

According to reports, Thanuja has been declared the runner-up of Bigg Boss Telugu 9. Since Daymond Pawan eliminated himself from the show and took home Rs 15 lakh, winner Kalyan got Rs 35 lakh as prize money.

Thaunja thanked Kalyan for supporting him throughout the season during the finale task. He said, "If there was anyone in the house who understood me and supported me like family, it was Kalyan (sic)."
