Prayagraj. As per the instructions of District Magistrate Prayagraj, the administration has taken a strict stand against the brick kilns being operated without depositing regulation fee and royalty. The Revenue Department and the Mining Department jointly conducted a surprise inspection of the brick kilns being operated under Ghurpur police station. During this period, about 20 brick kilns operating in various villages including Bogi, Iradatganj, Badalganj, Chilli, Karma were investigated. Investigation revealed that many brick kiln owners were operating without paying fees. Seeing the tough attitude of the administration, 11 kiln owners filled the form on the spot and gave the cheque.

The remaining people have been asked to deposit the amount within 2 to 3 days. The Mining Department clarified that as per the Government Order, the operation of brick kilns will be considered legal only after depositing the hoisting and regulation fees and application fees. Legal action will be taken as per rules against kiln owners who do not deposit fees within the prescribed time limit. In this matter, Mining Inspector Vaibhav Soni said that operation of brick kilns without regulation fee is completely illegal. This campaign will continue continuously and action will be taken against those who do not follow the rules. This action of the administration has created panic among the brick kiln operators.
