A well-known Bollywood filmmaker, Farah Khan , and her cook, Dilip, recently visited Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Khan at their Mumbai residence. They were also joined by Sonakshi and Zaheer’s mothers, Poonam Sinha and Mumtaz Ratnasi. The family came together to cook Champaran mutton using a special garam masala gifted to Poonam by royalty.
A bright red surprise
During the house tour, Farah Khan is shown the couple's bedroom in the vlog. Farah Khan's attention is quickly grabbed by a bright red-colored refrigerator in the room. Sonakshi Sinha went on to explain how their common friend Huma Qureshi gifted the couple the fridge.
The story behind Huma Qureshi’s gift
Sinha said, "Common friend humari jo hai, Huma Qureshi, usne hume ye fridge diya hai kyunki she knows how much Zaheer loves color and color pop. "Jab humari shaadi hui thi, tab she gave it as, jaise appliances dete hain na shaadi mein, so she gave this ref colourful fridge."
Farah Khan’s fun reaction
Farah Khan quipped, "Hum bhi denge gift, hum bhi laye hain housewarming gifts. Main shaadi pe ayi thi, lekin hum poora shaadi ka samaan leke aye hain." Sinha was delighted, "Oh waah."
A simple but special wedding
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied a knot in June 2024 at their Bandra home in Mumbai. They were married under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, in the presence of family and close friends. A grand reception at Bastian in Mumbai, attended by many Bollywood celebrities. The couple dated for seven years, with Salman Khan reportedly playing matchmaker, and shared their wedding announcement with a touching note about finding love in each other's eyes.
