Renowned Bhagwat storyteller Indresh Upadhyay recently married Shipra Sharma, a resident of Haryana, at the Taj Amer Hotel in Jaipur. The grand wedding ceremony drew attention across religious and social circles, with several prominent saints and sages in attendance. Although Premanand Maharaj could not attend the wedding in person, his affection and respect for Indresh Upadhyay were clearly evident.

This bond came to light during a Bhagwat Katha, where Indresh Upadhyay shared a special moment with devotees. While addressing the gathering from the stage, he revealed that he had received dakshina sent by Premanand Maharaj. Announcing it publicly, Indresh Upadhyay said, “Look, I have just received my dakshina, and it has been sent by revered Shri Premanand Maharaj of Kelikunj.”
