IndiGo Flights: IndiGo’s flight services across the country have been restored. IndiGo operated more than 2500 flights on Sunday. Between 1st and 9th December, more than 4,500 flights of IndiGo were canceled across the country, causing immense distress to the passengers.
IndiGo, India’s largest airline, had to go through a serious crisis earlier this month. From November 1, Flight Duty Time Ltd. IndiGo’s flight operations across the country were disrupted due to pilot inefficiency by the airline after the implementation of the second phase of (FDTL), extending rest hours and restricting night landings.
For the last five days, Indigo’s service in the country has started to recover. IndiGo has claimed that flight operations have started smoothly from 138 operating locations. IndiGo’s flight services have become smooth.
Aviation gradually improved
IndiGo’s operational recovery has begun gradually. The situation now ranges from major cancellations at the beginning of the month to minimal disruptions. IndiGo’s operations, which had less than 1,000 seats on December 5, have been gradually flooded. On Sunday, the number was over 2,500. This brought relief to around three and a half lakh passengers.Notably, the airline is facing regulatory scrutiny as the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Director General of Civil Aviation investigate the crisis. As a result, IndiGo’s winter schedule has been reduced by 10%. Meanwhile, the airline has estimated that it has paid more than Rs 500 crore as compensation to passengers stranded at the airport between December 3 and 5.
