India beat South Africa in 3rd T20I: Team India has registered a one-sided victory by defeating South Africa by 7 wickets in the third T20 match in Dharamshala. With this, India took a 2-1 lead in the five-match T20 series. Earlier, captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bowl first.


The bowlers did not let their captain’s decision prove wrong. The bowlers of the Indian team performed brilliantly and bowled out South Africa for 117 runs. Later, India beat the score given by South Africa by scoring 120 runs in 15.5 overs and won the match with 7 wickets in hand.



Indian bowlers performed strongly


The Indian team’s bowlers were the heroes of its victory in the third T20. The batsmen of the South African team, who came to bat first, paled in front of the Indian bowlers. For Team India, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakraborty took two wickets each, while Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey got one wicket each. India were forced to make two changes in the playing eleven, where Jasprit Bumrah did not play due to personal reasons and Axar Patel did not play due to ill health. Harshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav got a chance in their place.

Captain Aiden Markram scored 61 runs in 46 balls, while apart from him no other batsman could stand against the Indian bowlers. Quinton De Kock was out after scoring 1 run and Dewald Brewis was out after scoring 2 runs, while seven batsmen could not even reach double figures. Opener Reeza Hendricks could not even open the account. Donovan Ferreira added 20 runs and Enrique Norkhia added 12 runs.


India won the match in a one-sided manner


India won this match in a one-sided manner. Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill started in a fast manner for Team India, which came to chase the 117 runs given by South Africa. The host team added 60 runs in the first five overs. Abhishek played an explosive inning of 35 runs in 18 balls, which included three fours and three sixes. He became the victim of Corbin Bosch in the sixth over.



After this, Shubman Gill along with Tilak Verma took charge of the innings. Gill scored 28 runs in 28 balls with the help of five fours and was bowled by Marco Jansen in the 12th over. Tilak Verma returned unbeaten after scoring 25 runs in 34 balls, while Shivam Dubey scored 10 not out in four balls and hit a four and a six to lead India to victory. Captain Suryakumar Yadav contributed 12 unbeaten runs in 11 balls.
