Ranveer Singh’s espionage thriller Dhurandhar has been creating waves at the box office and now it’s catching attention for its celebrity reviews. Hrithik Roshan recently shared his thoughts on the film first praising it on Instagram but mentioning he might not fully agree with its politics. After facing some criticism online Hrithik clarified his appreciation on X (formerly Twitter) congratulating the cast and crew for their work.

What did Hrithik Roshan write?
On Wednesday Hrithik Roshan took to Instagram to share his thoughts on Dhurandhar. He wrote I love cinema I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control spin them shake them until what they want to say is purged out of them onto that screen. DHURANDHAR is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. Its cinema.

He further added I may disagree with the politics of it and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless cant ignore how I loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing. His comments initially sparked a backlash from netizens who criticized his remarks about the film’s politics though many later appreciated his acknowledgment of the movie and its craft.


The box office success of Dhurandhar
The audience response to Dhurandhar has been overwhelmingly positive. The film earned Rs 207.25 crore in its first week alone. Its India gross stands at Rs 287.75 crore while overseas collections have reached Rs 85 crore. With this the film’s total worldwide box office collection has climbed to an impressive Rs 372.75 crore highlighting both its commercial success and fan appreciation.
