Popular TV health expert Dr Amir Khan has been inundated with fans after suffering a fall live on Lorraine. The NHS GP shared a video with his thousands of Instagram followers, with the clip showing him joining host Lorraine Kelly on her self-titled show.

The footage, which aired a couple of years ago, showed Dr Amir say "I'm doing this for the lads" before he tried to perform a certain task. It was all to do with a viral TikTok challenge in which a man and a woman would both kneel on all fours with the hips over the knees.

Then you put one arm behind your back, and then the other arm. In most cases women stayed up and men fell flat on their face - due to the "centre of gravity" apparently being different between the sexes.

Sure enough, when Dr Amir had a go, he faceplanted - live on ITV with millions watching at home. Captioning his recent social media post, though, it seemed he saw the funny side.

He said: "Happy Friday everyone….found this gem again". Fans rushed to the comments section to wish him well, as one wrote: "Oh Amir this is so funny you never ever fail to make the sun shine no matter what the weather. Thanks so much for being the wonderful human you are".

A second said: "Bless! Too funny!" A third added: "One of my favourite moments on the show ever".
