Andhra Pradesh Road Accident: A major bus accident has occurred in Alluri district. On Friday morning, a private travels bus carrying pilgrims lost control and fell into a ditch on the Chinturu-Maredumilli Ghat road. In this tragic accident, 15 people died on the spot and many others were seriously injured. At the time of the accident, about 37 people were traveling in the bus, who were going to Annavaram after visiting Bhadrachalam temple. 15 killed, many injured-rescue operation continues

Police said that 15 passengers have died in the accident, while many others are admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Police, NDRF team and local villagers together started the rescue immediately. Many passengers were rescued from the forest slope and brought to the road with the help of stretchers, then sent to the hospital by ambulance. The injured have been sent to Chintoor Area Hospital and nearby medical centers for treatment. According to officials, initial reports suggest that the driver lost control at a sharp turn on Ghat Road.
