Microsoft partners with TCS, Infosys, Wipro to boost AI adoption

Microsoft has announced a strategic partnership with leading IT services companies Cognizant, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Wipro.
The collaboration is aimed at accelerating the adoption of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) across industries.
As part of this initiative, these firms will deploy over 50,000 Microsoft Copilot licenses in their operations.

The announcement of these partnerships comes during Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's visit to India.
The timing is significant as it follows his declaration of a massive $17.5 billion investment in India's AI and cloud infrastructure by 2029.
The investment is part of Microsoft's plan to expand its skilling and other operations in the country.

Puneet Chandok, President of Microsoft India & South Asia, also commented on the partnerships.

Chandok added that these global enterprises are moving from experimentation to full-scale deployment by embedding Microsoft Copilot into their daily work.
