The morning of a house in Ervakatra area of Auraiya started as usual, but within a few minutes it turned into silence. 21 year old Neha of village Rajaram Nagariya took the final decision between life and death in her room herself. The door was locked from inside and a young life hanging inside left many unspoken questions.
On Tuesday morning, Neha's family became suspicious that she had not come out for a long time. An attempt was made to open the door, but it was found locked from inside. When the family members somehow got the door opened, Neha was found hanging from an iron rod with the help of her dupatta. The family immediately took him to CHC Erwakatra, where doctors declared him dead.
A suicide note was found in Neha's room, which made the whole matter more serious. It was written in it that she was going through mental pain for a long time. She clearly wrote that Nepal's daughter-in-law and her son used to constantly taunt and insult her, due to which she was deeply hurt.
It was written in the suicide note: "I am very upset with my life. Nepal's daughter-in-law and her sons humiliate me by giving all kinds of taunts. I am very upset. That is why I do not want to live anymore. My family should not be held responsible for my death. Papa, please forgive me."
Neha's father Chhote Singh told that this was not the first time that his daughter was under mental pressure. On June 10, he had complained to the police about Neha suddenly leaving the house. When she recovered after a few days, she told that Kailash and another youth had seduced her. The police arrested both of them and sent them to jail.
Now the father has also accused a village woman and her sons of harassing Neha.
Police station in-charge Jeetmal Chaudhary said that the Panchnama of the body has been filled and sent for post-mortem. He said that the actual cause of death will be clear only from the post mortem report. Police is seriously investigating every aspect and further action will be taken as per rules.
