Blair Tickner Was Stretched Off After Suffered Shoulder Injury: New Zealand suffered a big setback in the second match of the three-match Test series being played between West Indies and New Zealand. New Zealand fast bowler Blair Tickner suffered a serious shoulder injury during the match. After which he was taken out on a stretcher. According to the latest reports, Blair’s shoulder has been dislocated.
This accident happened during the 63rd over of the match. Tevon Imlach played a shot to fine leg. He ran fast and dived to save the boundary. After diving, he fell there and got injured. New Zealand’s medical staff treated him on the field and then he was taken on a stretcher to the hospital by ambulance.
This was his first Test since the start of 2023, and he was included in the playing XI as Matt Henry and Nathan Smith were already injured. However, in this match, Blair Tickner bowled brilliantly and gave four blows to the West Indies. But he got injured while trying to save the boundary. Now he will hardly be able to play further in this match.
