Kalamkaval Box Office Collection Day 5: After coping with an unknown health condition earlier this year, Mammootty made a strong return with the release of his crime thriller on December 5. The Malayalam star portrays a serial murderer who is being pursued by a resolute police inspector, played by Jailer actor Vinayakan, in the movie. Kalamkaval is expected to have a strong first-week total and is doing well at the box office. Kalamkaval has already surpassed Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse and Bazooka to become Mammootty’s highest-grossing movie of the year.

Sacnilk claims that Kalamkaval’s Tuesday earnings of Rs 2.80 crore increased its India nett total to Rs 22.2 crore. With morning showings of 15.40%, afternoon showings of over 30.25%, evening showings of 39.12%, and night shows of 43.79%, the movie continued to have high occupancy on Tuesday as well. It has surpassed Rs 50 crore on a global scale. On Wednesday, it is anticipated to overtake Eko and rank among the top ten highest-grossing Malayalam movies of the year.
