New Delhi /IPL 2026 Auction list: The list of players for the mini auction of the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL 2026 has been finalized. More than 1350 players had registered for the IPL auction, but more than 1000 players have been excluded from the final list, because only 350 players will participate in the auction. These include 25 new players who had not registered earlier. The mini auction will be held on December 16 in Abu Dhabi. The board had already given this information.

Initially the board had released a long list of 1355 players who had registered for the auction. Later the BCCI had asked the IPL teams about the names they wanted to see in the auction pool. The shortlisted final list includes 35 new names, which were not part of the initial list and one of them is the surprise entry of Quinton de Kock. The South African wicketkeeper batsman was not in the original list, but his name was later included at the request of some franchises.

According to Cricbuzz, he is in the third lot with the wicketkeeper batsmen. He will be available at a base price of Rs 1 crore. Kolkata Knight Riders bought him last year in the mega auction for Rs 2 crore. However, KKR released him before the auction. Other new players include a group of Sri Lankan players, including Travyn Mathew, Binura Fernando, Kusal Perera and Dunith Velalage.

“The auction will feature 350 players and will begin at 1pm UAE time (2.30pm Indian time) on Tuesday, December 16, at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi,” BCCI said in a mail sent to the franchises on Monday (December 8) night. According to BCCI, the player auction will begin with a full round of capped players in the order of specialization – batsman, all-rounder, wicketkeeper/batsman, fast bowler and spin bowler, followed by a full specialization round of uncapped players. In this way, it can be said that the dream of more than 1000 players of playing IPL has been shattered here.

Indian players: Sadek Hussain, Vishnu Solanki, Sabir Khan, Brijesh Sharma, Kanishk Chauhan, Aaron George, Jikku Bright, Srihari Nair, Madhav Bajaj, Srivatsa Acharya, Yashraj Punja, Sahil Parakh, Roshan Waghsare, Yash Dicholkar, Ayaz Khan, Dhurmil Matkar, Naman Pushpak, Parikshit Valsangkar, Purav Agarwal, Rishabh Chauhan, Sagar Solanki, Ijaz Sawaria and Aman Shekhawat.
