Now Yogi government is going to make the journey from Lucknow to Bahraich-Gonda easier. Actually, a 101 km long four lane highway is going to be built between Barabanki and Bahraich. On which Rs 7000 crore will be spent.


Vehicles will run at a speed of 100 km


After the construction of this highway, vehicles will run at a maximum speed of 100 km. People from the capital Lucknow will also be able to board this highway. Vehicles going from Lucknow will be able to board this highway from Safedabad pass. After its commencement, the journey from Lucknow to Bahraich will become easier than before. NHAI Headquarters and Union Road Transport Ministry have also agreed for this highway. After that, the Appraisal Committee sent the DPR to the Cabinet in November for approval of funds, as soon as the funds are approved, NHAI will start work on this project.


This highway will start from Jarwal Road


Let us tell you that this highway will start from near Jarwal Road in Barabanki. To go from Lucknow to Bahraich, you will be able to enter this highway from near Barra Chowk in Safedabad area. Let us tell you that at present it takes about two and a half hours to travel from Lucknow to Bahraich. After the opening of this highway, it will be successful in one to one and a quarter hours.


According to NHAI officials, this highway will have modern facilities. On which the speed of vehicles on it will be more than 100 km per hour. Toll plazas will be constructed at two to three places on this highway. Which will be automatic. Along with this, the entire highway will be equipped with automatic traffic management signals. More than 50 cameras will be installed on both sides of this highway. Along with this, display boards will also be installed at some places.

Know which districts will benefit


Due to the construction of four lane highway from Jarwal, the travel of vehicles going to and from Gonda and Balrampur will become easier. Vehicles coming and going from Gonda and Balrampur will get four lane from Gonda to Jarwal and from Jarwal to Gonda. After Jarwal, one had to come to Barabanki via two lanes. Now with the four lane from Jarwal to Barabanki, people’s journey will become easier.
