As the nation’s bus market continues to grow, the 19,500 kg (gross) high-tensile steel-based BB1924 is designed for customers looking for more cargo capacity, better passenger comfort, and lower operating expenses.

The business claims that the BB1924’s 255 x 73.3 x 7mm steel chassis offers exceptional cost efficiency. Up to 51+1+1 people may be accommodated, and BharatBenz’s 92% localized supply chain ensures that 95% of parts are available within 28–48 hours. The heavy-duty bus is powered by a BS-VI OBD-II OM926 6-cylinder diesel engine with an intercooler and turbocharger that generates 239 horsepower and 850 Nm. According to the firm, the 6-speed synchromesh gearbox that comes with the engine is optimized for highway economy. Additionally, the car has a 6-year or 6 lakh-kilometer powertrain warranty.

ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, cruise control, brake hold help, pneumatic suspension with anti-roll bars, and a five-stage electromagnetic retarder that provides 40% less brake wear are among the safety features on board. The car rides on Michelin 295/80 R22.5 radial tubeless tires that were installed at the manufacturer. A TFT display provides access to ride information.

The company’s vast network of 398 authorized touchpoints across India will provide access to the BharatBenz BB1924. More than 15 banks and non-banking financial firms (NBFCs), including as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Bajaj Finserv, have collaborated with Bharatbenz to facilitate the purchasing process.
