Gurugram News: It has come to light that a lady in Rohtak died after her husband reportedly lit her on fire during a fight. An disagreement at the couple’s in-laws’ residence marked the beginning of the altercation, which swiftly became violent. According to reports, the guy doused his wife with gasoline before setting her on fire.
The victim passed away on Monday from her burn injuries while receiving treatment at the Rohtak PGI. Following a complaint from the woman’s parents, the Bhondsi police opened a case and took the accused into custody.

According to Jagran.com, the dead lady, 37-year-old Neetu, lived in Raisina, which is near Bhondsi. Sixteen years ago, she wed Anand, who lived in Raisina. Neetu described how Anand came home drunk on the evening of November 30th, had a quarrel, and then attacked her.
When Anand sprayed her with gasoline from a parked motorbike and lit her on fire with a lighter, the attack swiftly intensified. Her father-in-law and other family members saw her as she fled onto the street while enveloped in flames. On December 1, Sohna Hospital got a report of a lady who had suffered burn injuries.
After receiving treatment in Gurugram, she was transferred to Rohtak PGI, where she passed away on Monday from her burn injuries.
According to the report, Anand, the accused husband, was taken into custody by the police on Monday after the incident in Raisina village. Anand said during questioning that a few days before, during his sister-in-law’s wedding, he got into a fight with his in-laws. He attacked Neetu and set her on fire because he still harbored resentment.
