Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is on a two-day visit to Khajuraho. The state government will run from here during these two days. The CM will stay here with his entire cabinet for two days. Where he will also review the work of two years and decide on setting targets for the next three years. Meanwhile, on Monday, the CM held a cabinet meeting and took many major decisions. In which the biggest decision was taken regarding Bhopal Metro, which will run on 21st December.

Metro train will run in Bhopal on 21st December

During the cabinet meeting in Khajuraho, the CM took the decision and said that many development works including metro train will be inaugurated in Bhopal on 21st December. With the conclusion of programs in Indore and Bhopal on 13-14 December and the birth centenary of respected Atal ji on 25 December, inauguration and bhoomi pujan of various industries worth about ₹ 2 lakh crore will be done.

CM Mohan Yadav told the main achievements of his two years-

  • Madhya Pradesh is leading in the ranking of Ease of Doing Business at the national level.
  • 3 new policies of industry, logistics and export implemented
  • Permission to work in night shift for women
  • Land allotment completed for investment proposals worth ₹2.48 lakh crore, creation of approximately 2.85 lakh jobs
  • Assistance and facilities worth ₹4,977 crore distributed for expansion of industries
  • Production started in 327 MSMEs and large units, creation of 40,516 jobs
  • Customized package approved for 43 projects worth ₹18,685 crore, creation of 21,835 jobs
  • 26 new industrial parks and clusters approved
  • Work started in PM MITRA Park of Dhar on 873 hectare land
  • 4 working women hostels with 5,772 bed capacity approved
  • Establishment of 5 new regional offices and business extension office in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu)
  • Establishment of investment center in every district collector office
  • More than 1 crore cases were resolved in the revenue campaign conducted in three phases in the year 2024–25.
  • Madhya Pradesh became the first state in the country to appoint dedicated officers for revenue courts in 24 districts.
  • Through RCMS, more than 94% of the 41.68 lakh cases were resolved within the time limit in the last two years.
  • Madhya Pradesh became the first state in the country to ensure flawless crop surveillance using geo-fence technology and recorded crop details along with photos in 3.80 crore survey numbers.
  • After completing 94% of the work under the ownership scheme, 39.63 lakh rights records were distributed in the populated villages.
  • The number of cases pending from the call center for 6 months reduced from 8963 to only 150.
  • 438 office buildings were approved at a cost of ₹1974 crore, out of which construction of 324 has been completed.
  • An amount of Rs 2,68 crore 99 lakh has been spent so far in two years to deal with natural disasters and provide relief to the affected people.

CM told the plan for the next 3 years

  • It is proposed to establish 40 fair price shops in the fair area for Simhastha 2028 and issue temporary ration cards as per the demand of the Akharas. Temporary gas connections will also be issued to the Akharas.
  • Solar panels will be installed on the roof of warehouses.
  • Proposal for arrangement of link with Agristech data for procurement and sale produce and procurement data in agricultural produce market.
  • Integration of software systems of various institutions involved in procurement, storage and distribution of food grains.
  • The departmental portal will be modernized in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act DPDP Act.
  • Map making and land acquisition processes of mapless villages will be made end-to-end online.
  • New essential population lands will be identified.
  • There are plans to implement a faith-based diversion process.
  • Promotion of infrastructure development, expert lectures, industry dialogue programs and employability training as per AICTE standards.
  • Filling up of vacant posts in engineering, polytechnic colleges, new tech based courses, setting up Center of Excellence and aiming to get NBA recognition for 40% of the programmes.
