According to the information given on the official website of Starlink India, the starting price of Starlink’s residential plan is around Rs 8,600 per month. Apart from this, the hardware kit required to start the service will have to be paid separately for around Rs 34,000. This hardware kit includes an antenna, Wi-Fi router, wires and necessary accessories. The company says that users can easily install it themselves. Internet will start working as soon as you complete the setup.

Yes, Starlink is offering a trial of 30 days. Unlimited data will be given to the user during this trial period. That means you can use internet without any limit for one month. By visiting the website, you can check whether Starlink is available in your area or not by entering your pin code. The big claim of Starlink is that it almost eliminates the problem of internet server down time. The company says that the internet will run with 99.9% uptime and the possibility of interruption is very less.

The specialty of Starlink is that this system does not depend on towers present on the ground, but connects directly to the satellites present in space. For this reason, it can work even in such places where stable internet has not been reached till date. Not yet, although the company claims that it can be installed in any corner of India, but currently on entering multiple pin codes on the website, the message comes that: “Service is currently not available at your location.”

The website gives the option to enter email. As soon as the service starts in your area, you will be sent a notification from the company. The initial plan in India is for residential users. In other countries, Starlink provides many types of services, such as – Starlink Roam: In this, customers can take the antenna with them anywhere and can use the internet while on the go. The antenna can also be mounted on a car or camping van. The company has not yet shared clear information about whether these services will come to India or not.
