'Faraar': National Award-winners Parth, Teesha join Nawazuddin's thriller

Acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to star in a new heist thriller titled Faraar, directed by Kushagra Sharma.
It also features National Award winners Teesha Thosar and Parth Bhalerao.
The project includes a collaboration with Money Heist's Iván Lacámara, who has composed the movie's background score and his first Hindi song for the project.

Apart from the trio of Siddiqui, Bhalerao, and Thosar, Faraar also stars critically acclaimed actor Nimisha Sajayan, celebrated for Dabba Cartel, Poacher, and the Malayalam film Chithha.
Speaking to Hindustan Times about the characters in Faraar, director Sharma said, "The youngest National Award winner Teesha is playing Nawazuddin's daughter while Parth is playing the student of his character, a Physics teacher."

Faraar also features Thai action director Kecha Khamphakdee, who has worked on Indian hits like Jawan and Pushpa.
Sharma explained how these collaborations help the project, "Such collaborations make the project culturally rich and give it a rooted yet global perspective."
"The audience gets a variety of characters, each with their own individuality and journey alongside the protagonists."
'Faraar' draws inspiration from 'Chak De! India'
Film inspiration
Sharma cited Chak De! India as an influence on his ensemble casting approach.
He said, "I prepared a similar bouquet of actors as per our storyline."
"In today's world, the audience has become very broad, and language is no longer a barrier."
He added, "That's why we strategically roped in cast and crew from across industries."

Plot details
Speaking about Siddiqui's role in Faraar, Sharma said, "Every concept in the heist thriller is based on principles of Physics, which his character applies."
"A lot of scientific research has gone into it."
The director has made several short films that have been screened at Indian and international festivals, including Guilt, which won at the Paris Film Fest.
