BSNL Not Providing New SIM: The state-owned telecom company BSNL is dealing with an issue these days as since the starting of December 1 it is not able to provide new or duplicate SIM cards. This has affected the company as it is not able to add new customers. The problem is not restricted to one state but persists across the country. The core reason for the problem is a major outage of BSNLs Sanchar Aadhaar app which is preventing people from activating their SIM cards or completing their KYC (Know Your Customer) registrations.
