New Delhi: The problems of India’s largest airline, IndiGo, show no signs of abating. Flight cancellations continue, causing inconvenience to passengers. On Thursday, the airline set a record for flight cancellations.



According to the latest information, 550 IndiGo flights were canceled across the country on November 4th. Approximately 191 of these were on Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad routes. The massive cancellations have caused chaos at airports. IndiGo has cited significant disruptions to its network and operations.


What IndiGo Said


Amidst the continued flight cancellations, IndiGo has made a significant statement in its statement. IndiGo stated that the company has experienced significant disruptions to its network and operations over the past two days. “We sincerely apologize to all our customers and industry stakeholders affected by these incidents,” it said.



IndiGo’s teams are working diligently with the support of MOCA, DGCA, BCAS, AAI, and airport operators. “We are doing our best to mitigate the impact of these delays and restore normalcy.”

Regarding the flight cancellations, IndiGo further stated, “We keep our customers informed of any changes to their scheduled flights and advise them to check the latest status before traveling to the airport. IndiGo deeply regrets the inconvenience caused and is focused on restoring our operations as quickly as possible.”
