Our animal kingdom is filled with talent; some animals are amazingly energetic and some are sophisticated performers. They have a good sense of rhythm and sometimes they surprise us as we humans mostly perform for pleasure or to entertain others. But why do animals dance? Their dance may be a way to attract a mate or to strengthen a relationship or fight off a rival, or a way of communication. Here are list of a few best animal dancers.

1. Rattle Snake

2. HoneyBee

Samba is honeybee's signature dance. They dance with real meaning. When a honeybee returns to the hive, it returns with a special dance. So they wiggle their body in a straight line then circle to one side then the other.

3. Verreaux's sifakaIs a lemur family animal, critically endangered. They are widely known for their signature dance, 'Line Dance.' They live in the southwest spiny bush of Madagascar. They dance bouncing along on spindly hind legs with their great hopping side-steps.

4. Peacock DanceThe dance of the peacock is famous across the globe. The male peacock dances to attract a mate. They display their colourful tail by spreading feathers which turn into a large fan and then shaking them gently. This helps the female to decide whether the performer (male peacock) is healthy or strong enough to be a good partner.

5. Blue-Footed Booby

These seabirds are found mainly in the Galapagos Islands. The male blue-footed boobies dance to impress the female by showing their blue feet and lifting them high, one after the other in a slow and exaggerated manner.
