December 4th is celebrated as National Cookie Day every year in the US and with the holiday season going on, there's literally no reason to feel guilty about indulging in America's favourite baked treat. Here are the best freebies and deals of the day you should definitely not miss out on.



Chip City

For those with a sweet tooth, Chip City Cookies is celebrating by giving away a free Chewie cookie when customers order through the app on National Cookie Day. These cookies are available in multiple flavours such as chocolate chip, triple chocolate, confetti, s'mores and oatmeal.



Nestle Toll House

Free cookies as long as the supplies last! Nestle Toll House is giving away free Cookie Tacos on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 2 pm ET. Fans can visit the website to get their free kit. The Cookie Tacos come with a Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Roll, Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, a taco stand and a $25 gift card to cover additional toppings.



CrumblCrumbl's cookies are what most people's cookie dreams are made of. The brand is leaning into the '6-7' trend this year and since the phrase is free of meaning so is the brand's offer. On December 4th, customers can get a six-pack in stores and get a seventh treat free. Additionally, first 100 customers will get 6-7 stickers for the first 100 customers at each Crumbl location.

Members who have rewards have the opportunity to earn 3x the points on all espresso drinks, including the new Cookie Butter Cloud Latte.



Insomnia Cookies

A new limited-edition cookie is what Insomnia Cookies is offering on National Cookie Day 2025 along with a chance for rewards members to win free cookies for a whole year. The first 100 Insmonia Rewards members can visit the local store to get a free limited-edition Snowball Classic cookie. Additionally, one lucky winner at participating locations will find their Snowball cookie filled with purple buttercream, scoring a year of free cookies. They must take a picture of the cookie with their receipt and scan the QR code provided in-store to upload the photo and complete the entry form. Entries must be submitted by 3 a.m. PST on Dec. 6 to qualify, and winners will be told within seven business days.



Jimmy John's

A new cookie is debuting at Jimmy John's on National Cookie Day. The Holiday Magic Cookie is made with M&M's and topped with a sparkling winter sprinkle mix. Guests can get the cookie for free on December 4th with a purchase of $5 or more on mobile or through the app.



Great American Cookies

The iconic cookie brand is giving rewards members a free regular original chocolate chip cookie or sugar cookie on December 4th, in-store only through the Great American Cookies app. The brand is also releasing a new Winter White Sugar Cookie Cake for the festivities.
