Rohit was dismissed in the fifth over, while Yashasvi was dismissed in the tenth over. Virat Kohli and Rituraj Gaikwad then put on a partnership of 195 runs for the third wicket. Gaikwad scored 105 off 83 balls with 12 fours and two sixes. It was his first ODI century.

A resounding victory for South Africa

Batting at number four, Matthew Breitzke scored 68 runs, while Devald Brevis scored 54 runs. Quinton de Kock and Marco Jansen failed in this match. Finally, Corbin Bosh played a brief but important knock of 29 off 15 balls to lead his team to a 4-wicket victory. This is South Africa’s biggest win against India in ODI cricket history. For Team India, Arshdeep Singh and the famous Krishna took two wickets each, though Krishna proved to be very expensive.
